Software Settings
The software settings of GISBox are divided into two parts, namely “General” and “Network”. “General” is used to set the functions of the software itself, and “Network” is used to set the access address used when the SaaS service is used.
Next, let’s take a look at how to set up the software in GISBox.
1. General
| Configuration Item | Description |

| Terminal ID | When logging in to an account remotely, we can identify which terminal is running the software based on the terminal ID. |
| Proxy | The network proxy is mainly used in some network environments that require the use of a proxy. It is in the “Disabled” state by default. After clicking “Enable”, you can set the “Host”, “Port”, “Username”, and “Password” of the network proxy. Currently, only HTTP proxy is supported. |
| Close Button | The default setting is “Minimize”. You can set the GISBox software program to “Minimize” or “Exit” after clicking the Close button. |
| Boot Startup | The default setting is off. When turned on, the GISBox software will automatically start when the computer is turned on. |
| Debug Code | This setting is used by GISBox engineers and does not require setting. |
| Scene Save Directory | The default save location is Drive C. We can customize the save path. After modification, all local scene projects will be migrated to the set file path. |
| Automatic Project Saving | The default setting is off. When turned on, the project can be saved automatically, and the interval for automatic saving can be set. |
| Current Language | Supports three languages: Chinese, English and Japanese. |
| Clear Cache | Click this button to clear the cache generated during the use of the software. |
| Update | Click this button to check whether the current version needs to be updated. |

2. Network
| Configuration Item | Description |

| Domain/IP | The default is the** local area network IP** of the machine. If you need to change it to a public network IP or domain name, we can modify the link here. |
| Port | The default is the local area network port of the machine. You can set the access port of the SaaS service here. |
| Protocol Settings | The default value is “http”. You can select “http” or “https”. After selecting “https”, select “Custom” to set the https certificate. You can upload “key”, “cert” and “ca” certificates. |
| SaaS Visit URL | The default is a combination of domain name/IP and port. Paste the address into the browser and you can start using GISBox in the browser. |
