General Imagery

GISBox supports automatic tiling and publishing in formats such as “GEOTIFF”. (Click to view the Imagery Tiling tutorial)

The generated image service can be viewed in the “General Imagery” in the “Distribution” interface, as shown in the following figure:

1. Add Imagery Service

There are two ways to add imagery services. One is to enable the **”Publish as Service at the same time” **setting during imagery tiling. When the imagery tiling task is completed, the corresponding imagery service will be automatically generated. The other way is to manually add the imagery tile data and then generate the corresponding imagery service.

1.1 Publish as a service at the same time

When tiling a imagery file, you can publish it as a service at the same time, as shown in the following figure:

Click “General Imagery” in the distribution on the left to see the automatically generated imagery service, as shown in the following figure:

1.2 Add Manually

When tiling a imagery file, if the “Publish as service at the same time” setting is not checked, you need to manually add the general imagery data and then generate the corresponding imagery service.

In the “General Imagery” interface, click the “Add” button in the upper right corner, as shown below:

In the pop-up “Add General Imagery Data”, select the local imagery data file, as shown in the following figure:

Then click the “Confirm” button, and the corresponding imagery service will be generated in the general imagery.

2. Manage Imagery Services
