This article explains how to install and launch the Linux version of the client.
Before you start using the software, please download and install the appropriate GISBox client according to your system. GISBox supports Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems. We can download it from the GISBox official website. The location of the Linux version installation package is shown in the figure below:

1) Before installing the Linux version of the software, please make sure that the Linux system supports the graphical interface;
2) The Linux version of the client is divided into two types: “.deb” and “.rpm”. Please download according to your needs.
After the installation package is downloaded, please open the installation package, click “install” and start the next step of installation.
After the installation is complete, as shown in the figure below, you can now open and use the GISBox software on your computer.
Taking Ubuntu system as an example, you can click the “Show Applications” button at the bottom of the desktop to find and open the GISBox application.
After the software is opened, you need to log in, as shown below:
After logging in, you will automatically enter the Tiling interface of the GISBox software. At this time, we can use the software, as shown in the following figure:
