Linux Version

This article explains how to install and launch the Linux version of the client.

1. Download and install

Before you start using the software, please download and install the appropriate GISBox client according to your system. GISBox supports Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems. You can download it from the official website. The location of the Linux version installation package is shown in the figure below:

[Tips] The Linux client is divided into two types: .deb and .rpm. Please download according to your needs.

After the installation package is downloaded, please open the installation package, click “install” and start the next step of installation.

After the installation is complete, as shown in the figure below, you can now open and use the GISBox software on your computer.

2. Launch the software

Taking Ubuntu system as an example, you can click the “Show Applications” button at the bottom of the desktop to find and open the GISBox application.

After the software is opened, you need to log in using the mobile phone verification code, as shown below:
